Southern California can reach heights up to 75 feet.
Many times the main trunk divides into a second

Vesuvius has deep purple black leaves and is the darkest
of the flowering plums. With its light pink flowers blooming in
February and March, it provides excellent color for homes,

height of 18 feet and will grow in almost any soil. |

pear grows naturally into a spreading shrub, but is most
commonly pruned into a single or multi-trunked tree. It
also makes a good looking espalier. It is a moderate

clusters of fragrant white flowers appearing in winter and
early spring. Small inedible fruit is rarely seen.This tree
