Cupaniopsis anacardioides (Carrotwood)-the carrotwood is an evergreen with moderate growth to
about 40 feet. Its fragrant greenish white flowers turn to
reddish seed pods. It is a clean tree, so it is excellent
for patios or lawns. Tolerates poorly drained soil, salt
winds at the coast and hot dry winds inland. Excellent
tree near swimming pools. |

reaching a height of 40-50 feet. Foliage colors range from
bright green to blue. Although somewhat formal, it is ideal

Ginkgo biloba (Maidenhair Tree) -the
maidenhair tree is one of the oldest living trees. This
large deciduous tree with irregular growth habit can
attain a height of 70 feet but most mature trees are
35-50 feet.The bright green fan shaped leaves of
spring and summer turn brilliant gold in fall and drop
all at once.The fruit of the female tree has an
unpleasant odor and is messy. It is an excellent park
or large lawn tree. |

Magnolia grandiflora "Majestic Beauty" -known
as the Southern magnolia, this beautiful evergreen is
a moderately fast grower with exceptionally long,
broad and heavy textured leaves.The powerfully
fragrant flowers from creamy white to aging buff
usually last throughout summer and fall. |
